Adopt-a-Highway and Adopt-A-Street Cleanup Dates

We work with our program partners at the Dept. of Transportation (SC DOT) and the City of Columbia Public Works Department to establish four weekends each year for Adopt-A-Highway and Adopt-A-Street litter cleanups. If your groups pick up litter on these weekends, or the week before, their crews will pick up the bags of litter you leave in piles on the roadways.

Please plan ahead and submit supply requests at least one week in advance! Notify your Adopt-a-Highway or Adopt-a-Street group members of our scheduled quarterly cleanup dates. Did you miss a date? No problem. You can make up a missed cleanup, but your group will be responsible for disposing of the litter you collect.
